Bring your family, friends, and fellow adventurers and we'll load up the Sherpa with all our eco-adventure toys and share a day of wonderful discovery. Whether your thrill is snorkeling, kayaking, wildlife photography or stand up paddleboarding we have the expertise and genuine passion to make your trip with us absolutely unforgettable. Perhaps we'll spot Eagle Rays lazily swimming the shallows of crystal clear water or maybe a Hawksbill Turtle enjoying breath of air on the reef. All the while, our wonderful and accomodating excursion boat, Sherpa, is standing by waiting for the opportunity to provide her honored guests with a well deserved respite from our day of wonder and discovery. It's not a surprise that we're referred to as the "Discovery Channel" of coral reef and mangrove excursions!
Our Destinations: Sherpa is licensed to conduct tours within the Great White Heron Wilderness Area as well as the Western Sambo Ecological Reserve. Both of these extraordinary areas are accessable by boat only and are not frequented by the larger water sports companies.
Departure Times: This full day excursion departs the dock at 10 am and returns in the late afternoon.
What is provided: Kayaks, Stand-up Paddle Boards, Snorkel Equipment, *Ecology Guides, Lunch, Bottled Water, and Snacks are all included.
* Ecology Guides also provide expert instruction for proper and safe use of all equipment. We accommodate all skill levels from first time paddler/snorkelers to professional wilderness adventurers.

Born in Oxnard, California in 1957 Captain Jeff began his life on the ocean with a transpacific voyage aboard a US Navy Transport ship at 6 month's old. Since that early infatuation with Mother Ocean this sailor has never been more than a scent away from salt water. In 1992 he met a and fell in love with his beautiful wife, Trish and then as Captain Jeff states: "the real fun began". In 1995, on the day after Hurricane Opal struck their home on Pensacola Beach, FL. Jeff and Trish purchased a 37 foot CSY cutter and commissioned her the "Namaste". For the next 9 years these two teacher/adventurers sailed, snorkeled, kayaked their way south and finally dropped anchor in the Florida Keys. In 2004, after retiring from teaching, Jeff and Trish formed Namaste Excursions which soon became one of the more popular "Mom and Pop" charter companys in the Lower Florida Keys.
From 2004 to 2014 both Captain Jeff and Captain Trish continued to explore the waters throughout Florida and the Bahamas providing their guests with a high quality charter experience with a flair for ecological discovery. In 2015, Namaste Excursions purchased it's third boat and christened her the "Sherpa". With a shallow draft and ample size the Sherpa offers its guests the luxury of a big boat but the versatility of a canoe. Our trips are best suited for individuals or families who have a passion for exploration but still like the comfort of an easy day on the water.

We are self admitted reef geeks and love sharing the wonder of this beautiful eco-system with everyone who shares our passion."
