Our boat and the charter company was fantastic, accommodating, and pleasant to work with. Any difficulty I had came from using Sailo as the broker. Sailo was unresponsive, not helpful, and it wasn't until I was able to get in touch directly with the charter company that things smoothed out. Becau
... se our original boat became unavailable, the charter company provided us transportation to the new base and newer, larger boat, that was clean and in good working order.The captain we hired was knowledgeable of the area, responsive to our requests, especially because it was our second charter in the Agean and we had not wanted to repeat our last itinerary.
Greece as a destination and place to visit is welcoming. It also provides enough food variety for groups that have diverse tastes, so if you have parties not into seafood, other meat or vegetarian options are available.
I do recommend July or August if you are looking for warmer waters. June waters are warming but depending on the winter, the water temp can be refreshing.
