Description

Please inquire about per person rates for smaller parties.

Relax and Enjoy The intercoastal from downtown West Palm Beach to Peanut Island, Singer Island and beyond aboard a modern spacious Hunter Marine Passage 450. The Captain grew up on the Hudson River & Long Island Sound and has spent 27 years in the South Florida area and brings years of sailing experience. He is a teaching captain, thinking out loud always making all other captains feel very comfortable.

The captain is an entertainer and avid musician and most New Yorkers have heard him performing around town or on the radio doing jingles.

He never quit his day job as an engineer CPA accountant legal document writer, code writer and consultant in the daily news paper industry. Everyone will be thoroughly entertained.

A standard four hour cruise includes sailing from downtown West Palm Beach North to Singer Island and beyond. The captain will be teaching other sailors tips and tricks for big boat sail handling and maneuvering. This includes sailing with fractional sail exposed on the windy days to keep the ride nice and smooth and very stable.

Given the full Bimini and raised solar panels covering the entire after deck everyone can relax in the shade.

Ice-filled coolers are available, and there is always a stock of 16.9 ounce bottles of water, Crystal Light ice tea mix, and whatever alcohol you want to bring onto the boat.

Cruises can also be easily specially catered upon request.

The boat is a center cockpit sloop-rigged sailboat with in-mast furling main and furling jib. Aft steps give easy access to the water. Aft hot and cold shower at steps.

The aft deck can easily accommodate six people seated and specific chairs and two others sitting on towels on the back deck under the shade of the solar panels.

The large center cockpit can easily accommodate eight people.

There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out on deck during a 4 or 8 hour sail.

Full galley with microwave.

The boat is fast and it does it’s theoretical hull speed of 8.4 kn with half tanks and flat seas with only 18 knots of wind.

Several cushioned chase lounge seating.

The boat can be repositioned anywhere in the West Palm Beach to Key Biscayne area.

I chartered this boat and invited 10 guests to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday. We did not sail
because Mark wasn’t prepared. He was not properly staffed and so told us that the weather was not suitable to sail.

After leaving the dock, Mark informed us that the winds were too strong to sail, so he’d have to motor north on the waterway for awhile, turn south, and then put up the sails. Of note, we saw other boats sailing around us. Two and a half hours into the trip, my wife pleaded with him to sail. He begrudgingly raised the main sail, struggled on his own for while, and then lowered it. He had a crew mate onboard, but she never left the cabin. We sailed for approximately 20 minutes during our 4-hour charter.

The boat was not as pictured, (there was no seating on the bow), the cabin was dirty, and Mark was ill-tempered from the onset.

After I messaged Mark to express our disappointment, he offered to take my wife & I sailing next fall, when he returns to Florida. We don’t want a “ReDo”. Her birthday has passed. Our friends who flew in for the weekend have left, and we’ve moved on. I’m disputing the charges with Sailo and am hoping for the best.

Great trip! Capt Mark was ready when we arrived, departed the dock on time, showed us valuable lessons on sailing, and returned exactly on time. He is a safe and practical sailor and excellent coach. The boat is comfortable and reliable. I highly recommend sailing with Capt Mark and we will again. Thank you!

My 5 girl friends and I had an amazing time with Mark! He is professional, friendly, helpful, and interesting. He was extremely flexible which was perfect for us. He suggested picking us up to depart from a dock closer to us which was great. The boat is clean, beautiful, and he provided water and a Bluetooth speaker. We had a great day soaking up the sun/chilling in the shade, and jumping off the boat to swim when docked in Lake Boca. One of the highlights of the trip was when Mark brought out his guitar and performed a couple songs for us. So talented!
Thanks for a great day Mark!

    Buyer beware!!!!
The boat was hired to have my fathers memorial on it. When we arrived to the boat we were shocked .The boat was filthy , un kept and the owner had obviously been living on the boat making below deck completely unusable by us.

The sailboat was completely misrepresented with all cabins unusable , the toilet not able to flush paper down the boat was under construction with the front cabin a mess and duct tape covering the hatch.
We had originally booked the boat for 12 but there was not enough room for us and nowhere to really sit to eat. (we had hired a caterer to prepare food for the boat but the downstairs was not usable and there was only a mini fold down table above deck that 2 or 3 plates could fit on.
That being said we made the best of the day since it was too late to cancel and enjoyed our time with our family once we got past the initial shock of the boats condition.
The only plus was that captain mark played the guitar and sang.
We ended up having to reschedule the memorial for the following day since the boat was not suitable.

We had a wonderful trip along the intracoastal from Pompano to Boca Lake, with a time out for swimming in the lake. Captain Mike and his first mate, Cory, were most hospitable and fun to be with. The boat is well appointed and very comfortable for our party of 6. Captain Mark is very experienced and entertained us with his stories and lifetime experiences. Highly recommend this craft for a very enjoyable time.

We had such a great time on “The Naked Truth” and Captain Mark was awesome! We had a party of 8 and had plenty of space for everyone. We were able to bring drinks/snacks and play our own music. There was a bathroom available onboard for us, as well as space to store our drinks/snacks. It was a beautiful day out on the water, and a perfect way to spend my best friend’s bday!
